If You Really Love Football, Then You Gotta Check These Out

Me personally, I really enjoy football. I look forward to it every Sunday, Monday and Thursday night. Even though my team is looking completely horrible this season (I'm ashamed to say, the Indianapolis Colts) without Payton Manning, watching as many games as possible and keeping up with what's going on in the league is a must. And like every sports enthusiast, I have my own personal collection of NFL merchandise.  Everything from posters, cards, jerseys and a few couple stacks of Tuff Stuff magazines. Okay, maybe more than a few stacks that my wife just happens to be begging me to throw away for awhile now. Anyway, I was browsing around in the NFL shop online looking for my next piece of Colts merchandise (that's right, I still remain loyal) when I came across something that really caught my attention. Since working with sculpts is a part of what we do and something I find very interesting, these collectibles where something that had to be posted. I'm talking about officially licensed NFL Busts.

  • They're made by a company called iAm Enterprises and are constructed of polyresin, the same material used for our bobbleheads and figurines.
  •  They're about 12" in height and are hand sculpted and painted
  • Each piece is created from an original 3d photograph of the actual player
  •  And they are strictly limited

Check out this bust of Payton Manning. Do you think they have a likeness or could they have done better to capture his facial features?

They're a bit on the pricey side, but if you have the means to purchase one, it would be a great addition to your collection. If you would like to see more, you can check them out here. I thought about getting one myself, but if I brought anymore merchandise into the house, I'd probably be thrown out.

Oh yeah, and if by chance your asking yourself if we offer custom busts in our store, just keep a lookout because we will have them in the near future!
