Captain America Hits The Big Screen

Question, who's ready for the new Marvel superhero movie Captain America: The First Avenger? I know I am. The movie will be in theaters July 22 and will be the second movie released by Marvel in one year after the movie Thor. Two Marvel movies released in one year? Who'd a thunk it. Anyway, this movie tells the origin of our hero (played by Chris Evans) and how he was created by an experimental program that turns him into a super soldier. If you're unfamiliar with the character, here are some quick facts to get you up to speed:

A "Super Soldier" Formula bombarded with Vita Rays gave him his powers.
This formula gave him all of the reflexes and abilities of an Olympic athlete.
He wields a sheild made of adamantium
He later joins a band of superheroes known as the "Avengers" including
Spider-man,
Hulk, Iron Man, and Thor.
Captain America's real name is Steve Rogers.

Ok, I just had to throw this bit of information into this post, so here it is- In celebration of the new film, Funko has released a new Captain America Movie Bobblehead Doll Seeing how I have been a Marvel fan since forever, I just had to give the opportunity to own one of these guys to our customers! If you love comic book superheroes, this is for you! They did a great job on this bobble (as always) and portrays the character in all his glory!

Captain Steve Rogers at your service! This Captain America bobblehead features the likeness of star, Chris Evans. With a dose of the super soldier serum, Steve Rogers becomes the greatest superhero dedicated to defending America's ideals, in bobble head form! Bobble head features Captain America in his costume and his iconic shied standing 6-inches tall atop a name display base.

Judging from the previews, this looks to be another great Marvel release. The storyline looks to be on target and they did a great job creating the villain Red Scull. One thing I would of liked to see was the original costume Cap wore in the early comic books. Of course, this is something I can definately get past!

Here are a few previews for the movie. Check them out and let me know what you think.
