Take A Ride On The Cruizin' Cooler

 The Cruizin' Cooler

So I was browsing around on the web trying to find a truly unique product to share in my next post. A few months back, I posted an article on Willard Wigan's "microscopic art" which I thought was really cool and very unusual. Well just when you think you've seen it all, you come across something that makes you say, "where do people come up with these ideas?" Anyway, I have stumbled upon a little invention called a "Cruizin' Cooler." Now maybe this is something you've heard of before, in which case this is yet another late discovery on my part in which someone else has completely exhausted the topic and moved on to something new. Nevertheless, this is something I just had to mention here.

This little handy gadget gives the owner the ability to take their cold food or beverages on the go. The owner is actually seated on the cooler and it's driven to their destination! Imagine stepping outside your home and seeing someone ride one of these. You may think it's only good for a laugh but this cooler gets the job done. It sports some really interesting features.

It's lightweight, comes in various colors and can run a 10 mile range with the electric model, or up to 30 miles with a gas powered model. It features spring loaded foot pegs, chain drive, gas tank, disk brakes and can top a 13mph speed. Not to mention it has a rider capacity of up to 300lbs. And if you really want to trick it out, you have your aluminum rims and available decals to give it a personal touch. Just what can you use this cooler for? It can be used for anything from camping and fishing, to hunting and golfing events. So the next time you have to tote a cooler around for that special event just think, you could be riding your cooler to your destination! And don't laugh too much, I'm just one of the many people who wish they had thought of an invention like this. They can run anywhere from $159 to $1400 and yes they do sell! To whom do you ask? Well, Ellen DeGeneres owns a cruizin' cooler worth over $5,000 with all the bells and whistles. It has so many features, it took the inventor over 2 months to complete this cooler. Still think it's a silly idea? Maybe not.

This is just something I came across that I thought was really neat. If you come across an unusual product or invention, please share it with us. We would love to hear about it!
