 With every person I meet they always ask the same question, "what made you get into that type of business?" Well my original plan was to start a business selling comic book and movie related merchandise. But one day I sat down and thought, "wouldn't it be cool to have a product that was made based on the actual face of a person." You see celebrities like Arnold Schwarzenegger  portraying characters that have their own dolls so why can't we have something to sort of immortalize ourselves and get a few good laughs at the same time? I thought it would be great to have someone actually take the time to sculpt a personalized figure of a person. So after months of planning and talking to the right people Face It Figures was created which for those of you wondering means your face on a figurine.

A custom bobble head is an ace in the hole when you've given every possible gift you can think of and you want to give something that will be enjoyed for years. Let's face it, many gifts nowadays are so impersonal with no real thought behind it. But I challenge you to find one person who wouldn't get a kick out of seeing a caricature figure of them self with an over sized bobbling head sporting a big cheesy grin on the face! And each one is unique to that person so no two are ever alike. You can capture the personality and personal features of a person simply by adding that mole to the cheek or adding the jersey of a team that that person loves. It's not just a gag gift, but with the amount of thought and creativity put into it, it can have a real sentimental personal feeling behind it. To me that says so much more than just going out and buying your average gift. That's going the extra mile.

Honestly, I have always been a kid at heart. I still read comic books (Spider-man being a personal favorite) from time to time and yes I enjoy and good cartoon once in a awhile so don't laugh! I guess my product is sort of a reflection of who I am. I enjoy a good laugh and try to uplift people during hard times. Life can be very stressful and we need things that bring joy into our lives and help us maintain, even the simplest of things. I wanted a product that I could be truly proud of. A product that would allow someone to use their imagination and actually put thought behind its creation. Yes we have master artists that spend vigorous hours sculpting these bobble heads, but they wouldn't exist without your ideas and creativity. It's like each bobble head produced has it's own personality and story behind it. That's what makes them so much fun to me. Each client has a new idea for a custom bobble head and you eagerly anticipate the outcome every time.

One of the most rewarding things about this business is the responses I get when a client receives the product proofs. It's a great feeling to see the shock and excitement when they see an image of the sculpt for the first time. That's why even though these are meant to be funny caricature type figurines of a person, I want our artists to capture as many facial features as possible working with different photos. Yes it can be quite difficult capturing the facial features working with a digital photo but to not carry any likeness at all would be unacceptable. I want the customers to be eager and excited about the project as I am. Giving my own personal ideas and concepts in addition to the customer's requests not only allows me to get involved on a more personal level, but will help to ensure a unique quality product every time.

Custom bobble heads continue to increase in popularity but many people still have never heard of them. It's a response of sheer surprise every time I mention to someone what it is I do. I love the fact that we can carry a unique product that can be created in almost limitless ways. A product based on a person's creativity and imagination. They're miniature works of art that are not just mass produced and sold but actual thought is put into each and every one. Most importantly, my products make people happy and bring smiles to the faces of their recipients. If I can contribute just a little bit of happiness in life to otherwise stressful and sometimes disappointing times, then its a great day for me. I truly believe in my custom products and what they can do for people.
